Overview

“atHUM” (formerly AVRIA) is an AI-powered interior designer for current and future home renters or owners who want to achieve the full potential of their space. atHum is currently in the seed stage round.

My Role

Strategy, Art Direction, UX Design, UX Research, Facilitator

The challenge

How might we provide a relevant design suggestion that represents the styles and needs of home-buyers?

Research

Primary and secondary research, including in-depth interviews.

  • Competitive Analysis: researched current renting/buying alternatives
  • Interviewed potential users to understand their basic needs when searching for a home
  • Developed questionnaires for A/B testing to shape the AI model

IDEATION

We developed initial prototype interfaces to collect basic user information for the AI model to work.

SOLUTION

Research revealed the need for a rebrand that resonated better with the target audience. It also revealed the need for a web interface rather than an app first. I led multiple workshops to guide new brand strategies and find a unique value proposition.
